His business ventures started while still in middle school with a paper route. Even then, with his ambition to excel, he never lost sight of details and the need for them. Whether it was relating to specific placement of each customer’s paper or determining payment arrangements for his customers, he projected business savvy.

He continued that process being the top fund-raiser for his school band, which he was part of; and even years later as a buyer for a department store. All such experiences were laying the cornerstones for the foundation to his unique business-minded focus.

Jimmie being a model was asked if he might start a modeling agency himself, his response was, “Why open something that is already being done well that won't offer anything different than what is out there already." He has always projected that standard in all venues of life.

At the age of 20, he started Attude, LLC, his own production/entertainment company. As a professional full-time model, he represented himself (as well as other models), and re-invested every cent he earned back into the business to ensure its financial stability and future growth. Using his own unique style he handled all aspects of the business. He dealt with all associated contracts, determining what shows he would be perform in; and writing, directing, producing and choreographing many of those. Within his career, whether there was a business issue or even just the question to participate in a venture, he has always made the decisions.

Jimmie’s business savvy and expertise has allowed him to maintain an on-going successful modeling career while at the same time taking on other business roles and ventures too. Jimmie merged Attude, LLC with, Lee Bailey Reed, LLC, forming one company. Jimmie has equal ownership in the company, with his partner Jeffrey Bailey; with Jimmie as the CEO and Jeffrey as the Executive Chef.  Jimmie concurrently maintains his professional modeling and has complete involvement in Lee Bailey Reed, LLC to include incorporating his expertise and entertainment background in their full service restaurant, LBR 614 Restaurant & Bar. He attends, produces, directs, markets and assists Jeffrey in the instructional classes on cooking. He has and continues to be an extremely ‘hands-on’ professional in all avenues of the businesses he is involved in.
